Unroutine is a daily list of optional practices. The starter tasks are Chase new experience, Chase discomfort, and Chase the No (get rejected). Each one includes example ways. You can add tasks, add ways, delete a task, mark a task or a way done, and undo that.
Completions are stored for the local day. The same tasks come back the next day unfinished. A streak is consecutive local days with at least one finished task. Today stays open until one task is done, so a finished yesterday keeps the streak.
On Android, a home-screen widget can show the same list. The web app is app.
You do not sign in. Unroutine does not keep a profile for you. Your tasks, ways, and completions stay on the device you are using.
Example ways are suggestions. Some of them mean talking to people you do not know, being visible in public, or asking for something that can be refused. You choose what to do. A no still counts. You are practicing the ask, not collecting a yes.
Stay within the law. Respect other people's space and a refusal. A suggestion is not permission to harass anyone, go where you are not allowed, or put yourself or someone else at risk.
On a phone or computer the records are local files. In the browser they are IndexedDB for that site. Clearing app storage, reinstalling, or clearing browser data for the web app removes them. There is no server copy to restore.
Unroutine is a practice tool, provided as it is. A day can be awkward. An ask can be refused. There is no promise of a particular result, of uninterrupted access, or that a local history will survive a cleared device.
The app and these terms can change. The date on this page is the current version. Using Unroutine after the date changes means you accept the updated terms.
